We are so excited to welcome you all to our wedding weekend at the Moon Palace in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Please read through this entire page as it contains information on the Group Booking we have set up with Indian Destination Wedding + Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) you may have.
As per our resort policy, all guests MUST book their rooms through the Indian Destination Wedding website (linked below) only. Any guest who books their room through a third party website (Expedia, Costco travel etc.) will NOT be able to access the wedding events without additional fees being imposed.

→ A three (3) night minimum stay is required, but you are welcome to extend your vacation using our special group rates.
→ Check-in and wedding events will begin on October 24, 2024 and check-out will be on October 27, 2024.
→ Rates listed will INCLUDE:
⋆ All inclusive accommodations at Moon Palace Jamaica, including meals, drinks and activities.
⋆ Special food catered for all wedding specific events.
⋆ All taxes, fees and tips, bellman and housekeeping fees.
⋆ Resort Credit (of $500 per room) applied to a 4 night or more stay. Please note this credit does not apply to a 3 night stay.
Flights
✈ We recommend flying into Sangster International (MBJ) in Montego Bay, Jamaica as that is the larger airport with better prices.
However, if you choose to fly into the Kingston Airport (KIN), please contact Drithi/Parth to get more information on Airport transfers - we will help arrange that for you.
Airport Transfers
✈ If your stay is 3 nights, roundtrip Airport transfers from Sangster International (MBJ) are $45 per person.
✈ If your stay is for a minimum of 4 nights, you will receive complimentary roundtrip airport transfers from Sangster International Airport (MBJ).
✈ You will be sent an email 90 days prior to arrival to submit your flight information using the form linked in the email. Please try and have your flights booked by then.
Visa
✈ Please verify with your local Consular's Office for Visa stipulations and entrance requirements into Jamaica.
✈ US and Indian citizens do not require a Jamaican visa for a stay of up to 30 days.
Moon Palace Jamaica has everything - and it's all included. Global cuisine, top-shelf drinks/bar, 24-hour room service, water sports, pools and beaches, great nightly entertainment including live music, karaoke and spectacular shows. Additionally, we are working with the team at the resort to put together a customized package for any of our guests who would like to explore the island of Jamaica.

✳ When and where is the wedding taking place?
We will be getting married at the Moon Palace Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Check-in and wedding events will start on Thursday October 24, 2024 and check-out will be on Sunday October 27, 2024.
✳ How should I book my travel?
BOOKING YOUR FLIGHT: Feel free to book your air travel in the way that's most convenient to you. As a reminder, we recommend flying into Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay. To get to the resort, Indian Destination Weddings will provide ground transfer. For those staying 4 nights or more at Moon Palace Ocho Rios, there is no additional cost for your transfer. For those staying 3 nights at Moon Palace Ocho Rios, your transfer is $45 per person, round trip.
BOOKING YOUR STAY: You will be required to book your hotel accommodations at the Moon Palace, Ocho Rios through the Indian Destination Weddings group reservation (linked here) to participate in wedding events and our special room block rates.
✳ Will there be additional costs?
Apart from flights, accommodations and airport transfers, our wedding resort is all-inclusive (inclusive of food, beverages and alcohol). You will only incur additional costs should you avail any spa treatments, excursions outside the resort, food & drinks outside the resort etc.
✳ Is there a dress code?
The events tab of our website describes outfit recommendations/color palette for each event. You can also find our detailed wardrobe planner here. Whether you are Indian or not, we would love for you to fully immerse yourself into our Indian culture. We do not want to restrict you and appreciate you wearing Indian and/or Western outfits to our events.
✳ Where can I find Indian clothes?
If there are no Indian stores in your area, here are a few places that offer a great selection:
- Etsy has affordable options that are designed per order to your measurements (search "lehenga")
- Pernias Pop Up Shop and Holi Chic by Megha are other great options that provide shipping too.

✳ What will the weather be like?
In October, you'll be kept cool on the coast by welcome breezes. You can expect a high of 86ºF/31ºC and lows of 72ºF/23ºC during the week!
✳ How do I RSVP?
Navigate to the "RSVP" tab of this page and enter your primary email address. Next, RSVP by navigating to each of the events indicating if you will be accepting (Yes!) or declining (No!). You will be able to RSVP for everyone in your party.
Note: if the system does not recognize your email address, it will ask you to enter your first and last name to try and match you to the guest list. If you are still having trouble accessing your RSVP, please contact Parth or Drithi.
